MXD #005 – B.A.H.Y (Amplify)

MXD #005 – B.A.H.Y (Amplify)

For the fifth mix in our series we welcome B.A.H.Y, head honcho and resident of ‘Amplify’ – Hertfordshire’s hottest House and Techno export and new monthly Sunday party here at 1001.

Armed with a sound-engineering background and a degree in electronic music, B.A.H.Y’s own production is crisp, neat and tidy, keeping it interesting with clever sample use and leaning toward the darker, techier sound.

His DJ sets marry House and Techno tunes seamlessly. He kicks off his mix for us with some groovy Tech house and steadily progresses into a moodier Techno overtone, accentuating his expansive and varied interest in electronic music and shedding some light on the music policy of the Amplify brand.

A high calibre of previous guests including Josh Butler, Leftwing & Kody and Mark Fanciulli gives some insight into what you can expect from Hertfordshire’s hottest House and Techno party and with Amplify on the rise, B.A.H.Y is definitely one to watch for 2016.
